Kitchen Management Part 4

Clean and store the plastic containers you get from hotels  to store food items in fridge or when you want to send some to your friends, relatives or maids. They come in handy when you travel .

Crush up a raw onion and mix it with equal parts water. Using a damp cloth, rub the mixture of a crushed onion mixed with equal amount of water on metal surfaces like faucets or fixtures  to make them retain their shine.

If your fridge smells , squeeze lemon , dip a cotton ball and leave it in the fridge for a day.

Keep cut flowers fresh longer by adding a teaspoon of coconut oil  to the water in the vase.

Keeping the cinnamon pieces openly in the room will get rid of the paint smell .Even spraying Vanilla essence takes out the smell.

Nail polish removers can be used to remove the labels and other things printed on the complimentary zip bags and purses.

Old nail polishes can be used to color old paper photo frames.

Placing a few slices of raw onion in a bowl of water will take off the new paint smell from the room.

Put small piles of cornmeal or pieces of cucumber to ward off ants.

Roughly chop an onion in half and spear it with a long fork.

If ants are constantly invading your kitchen, leave a bowl of raw onion slices out.

Rubbing a raw half onion  against the windshield of your car at night  prevents the frost formation  .

Sprinkle baking soda in a garbage disposal system along with a few drops dish-washing liquid before washing it .

To get rid of cockroaches mix equal amount of wheat flour and Boric powder in water. Boil to get a paste, make balls out of it and dry them ,place them in places wherever you see cockroaches .

To open a sealed envelope , just place it in the freezer for an hour or two.

To remove stains, smear the area with eucalyptus oil leave for half an hour and then wash.
Try to open a gift carefully to you reuse the wrapper.

Use a wet cotton ball or kneaded flour (atta) to pick up the small pieces of glass.

Use nail polish to mark the cooker weights, petticoats, towels, socks, vests , mobile charger chords , Tupperware bottles, containers, with initials  for easy identification.

Use old ice cube trays to hold small tiny pieces of jewelery.

Use the empty kitchen tissue roll or the aluminium foil empty roll to  roll the gift wrappers neatly.

Use the old shower curtains when bringing plants and pots from the nursery. Use it  as a curtain to prevent water from entering the balcony. You can use it as a cover for two wheelers .

While stacking non stick pans place kitchen tissues or paper plates in between them to avoid scratches.
