Do not keep milk in the refrigerator door, it will spoil faster than keeping it on the shelves of the medium.

If you save onion in nylons you can keep them for up to 8 months.

It’s not healthy to reuse  the leftover oil: If you find the oil clear in golden yellow color, smells good  reuse it.If the oil is darker, smells bad  discard it. Avoid adding salt before deep frying, as salt further lowers the smoking point of oils. If the oil froths, then discard it.

 The cheese should be stored in the warmest part of the refrigerator.

Store leftover food, sliced vegetables in an air tight transparent container to identify easily .

Wrap the outside of bananas with plastic wrap to prevent the entry of air and keep the bananas in good condition longer.

 To reuse dry bread, rub the surface with an ice cube and bake for 10 minutes.


Keep tomatoes at room temperature, not in the refrigerator.

Save the eggs in the middle shelves of the refrigerator and will keep for much longer.

 To make idli batter soft take 2, 3 papads and soak in water and put in mixie and run for a min and add to the idli batter. 

To peel almonds soak them in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes.

To prevent curd from turning sour, peel a piece of ginger, crush it slightly and put in curd.

To remove the excess turmeric powder from a vegetable just cover the vessel's mouth with a white muslin cloth. The cloth will absorb the excessive turmeric.

To warm biscuits, pancakes, pizzas or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. 

Use a paper towel to keep your salad lettuce fresh .

Wash and cut drumsticks into pieces and store in an air tight container in the fridge .

 Wash vegetables before peeling or cutting to preserve the water soluble vitamins. Wash, silverware with this water.  Pour them to the plants .

While making onion pakodas,  grind a little onion and ginger to the pakoda mix  for the flavour .

While making popcorn, you better cover the bowl with a plate to reduce the amount of uncooked corn kernels.

 Wrap lettuce in a foil to keep it fresh .

 Wrap the fruits and vegetables in newspaper before refrigerating to keep them fresh for long.
