Kitchen Management Part 5

Add a teaspoon of baking powder when mashing potatoes, and beat them vigorously to make them extra light and creamy. 

Add 1/4 - 1/2 a cup of lemon juice to the white laundry cycle, to make your clothes brighter and whiter!

Apply baby oil to the surrounding area to remove the bandage or band-aid without pain..
 Cleaning your bathroom mirror with foam white shaving cream( not gel  )will stop it from fogging.

Pour in ½ cup of baking soda into the toilet,  brush it and flush.

Pour a can of Coca Cola into the bowl, leave it for an hour and brush it and flush.

Insert the fan blades into an old pillow cover to clean the fan blades, and take out the cover gently. 

For a quick and simple way to remove odors from your dishwasher, just add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to your next wash. 

If the flow of ketchup is slow, insert a plastic drinking straw into the bottle, then see the result.

 If the rubber gloves do not come off easily run your hands under the tap water till it comes off.

Peel a banana from the bottom  to pick the little "stringy things" off of it.  

Pour a bit of water in the candle holder to prevent the wax from melting and sticking to the holder before keeping the candle, if not put the holder in the freezer to chip them off.

Pressing white bread on top of the lipstick stain will remove the stain.

 Keep unwanted animals out of  your  garden, compound  by  sprinkling  onion slices around the garden.

 Throw orange peels in the trash disposal for a fresh smell. 

  To get rid of itch from mosquito bites try applying soap on the area for instant relief. 

To prevent the wall plaster from chipping, put a small piece of tape at the place where you want to nail. 

To keep a sweater fluffy and pleasant, add a tiny bit of vinegar to the washing machine's cycle.
 To prevent sweat stains spread some talcum powder on the arm pits and neck areas of the shirt, before ironing white shirts.

Toothpaste  (and not gel  )removes many stains including lipstick stains. Simply rub a  dollop of the toothpaste (be sure it is past) onto the stain and wash .

Run a pencil  lead along the zipper to  lubricate the teeth for easy opening and zipping .

Use an old umbrella as a laundry rack. Hang it upside down on a door handle and use the frame to hang up your delicate dresses  like socks and handkerchiefs.

White Vinegar works   great   for tougher stains and also de clogs .
