Visit to Ragi Gudda Prasanna Anjaneya Temple

Though I am here since 2003, I have not visited this temple in 9 th block Jaya Nagar, open to everyone, regardless of caste, colour or creed

At last, I asked Arjun to take me on Sunday, 29th Nov. The next day being Hanuman Jayanthi, there was a lot of rush but the temple authorities have made a very good arrangement where one does not frown after seeing the crowd.

Arjun jokingly said it is for sure we are visiting the hanuman temple on seeing the queue. [It is like hanuman‘s tail] Inspite of the rush we could have the darshan in 15 min after standing in the queue, the arrangement made for the slippers was very good. Each party need to put their slippers in the bag provided and hand over and take them back from the counter.

Like Tirupathi, here also they insist that you spend less time at the sannidanam. Half the way you have the ramp, and later you need to climb 88 steps, while climbing you do not see the strain but it shows on the next day.
