13 Things You Can Do With Milk

Milk is a basic ingredient in any household, but it's a waste to use it just for drinking, when you can put it into many more uses that will make your life easier while also saving you money!
Here are 13 examples of things you can do with milk besides drinking it!

To make the frozen fish much yummier, soak it in a bowl of milk until it is completely thawed, and only then cook it.
The taste will be MUCH improved!
Soften your skin
Prepare a bath, then fill half of it with milk. Sounds very bizarre, but if you soak in it for about 30 minutes, your skin will be as smooth as a baby's bottom!

Relieve bug bites
Prepare a solution of milk, water and salt (no more than 2 spoons of salt) and smear on the place of the bite. It will sting at first and then stop stinging all together!

Remove ink stains
Scrub the stain on your cloths with a mixture of milk and lemon juice. Leave overnight and then put in the wash!
Shine your leather shoes
Take a clean cloth and soak it in milk, then wipe your leather shoes carefully to get an immediate shine. This can be used for other leather products as well!

Make your own yogurt
Mix one glass of milk with 1 table spoon of white vinegar or lemon juice.
Shine your silverware
Soak silverware in a bowl of sour milk for 30 minutes. Then wash with hot water and soap and dry with a soft cloth to get silverware that shines like new!

Improve the taste of corn
Pour milk and water in equal amount into a pot and heat. Put in the corn and then bring to a boil - and enjoy the rich taste!

For better irrigation

Fill a funnel with milk and water in a ratio of 1 part milk for 4 parts of water, and use it to bring new life to your plants.
Making your furniture shine.
Use a solution of milk and lemon juice and use a soft cloth to shine your furniture, to get that great shining gleam!

Clean your house plants
Soak a clean cloth in skimmed milk to remove dust and stains from your house plants. Wipe the leaves with the cloth and then use a clean cloth to wipe away the milk and dry the leaves.

Fix cracked porcelain and china dishes
Put the cracked tools in a big pot. Fill the pot with 2 cups (or more) of milk and heat on a low fire for an hour. Let it cool and wash it. This will wash away the signs of the crack.Best to use after gluing.

Relieve sun burns
Mix milk with a bit of water and smear on the painful area. For burns that cover large areas, a good idea is to soak your clothes in the mixture and wear them for ongoing relief and faster healing of the skin.
