Spread the refrigerator’s vegetable drawer with a lining of newspaper to absorb odors .

Baby oil is best to remove paint from skin.

Baby shampoo is perfect for washing kids’ napkins, bibs and under garments.

Do not discard the old match boxes, use them as travel sewing kit.

Erase salt stains from leather and suede shoes by making a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water and applying it with a cotton rag.

Help shoes keep their shape and smell fresh by stuffing them with newspaper after wearing them.

Put a few sugar cubes  along with cake or cookies in a sealed container  to keep them  fresh for longer. Same goes for cheese.

Pack small amounts of salt, pepper, and spices for a camping trip.

Push an empty one-liter plastic bottle into a tall boot to keep it straight from sagging.

Remove coffee and tea stains from the insides of cups by rubbing with a salted citrus peel.

If your chain got entangled, rub a few drops of baby oil into each knot and work them gently free with a straight pin.

To give your roomy shoe heels and ballet flats a perfect fit , place some cotton balls in the roomy area .

To keep wrinkles away in silk scarves wrap them around the empty tissue roll .

To keep your ball of wool in place, use an empty baby wipes container to keep it tangle-free.

To prevent a smelly, waterlogged sponge, air-dry it in a binder clip away from the sink.

To prevent mud getting into the house tie plastic bags around your shoes,  and after entering  your house you can throw the plastic cover in a trash can.

To prevent the cut apples from browning in your child’s snack box, secure it with a rubber band.
