From a woman to another woman ...............

My response in a different way to ....

Chetan Bhagat’s Article in today’s TOI : Specially for Indian Women…. Do Read it
Specially for Indian Women. Do Read it and share it with all the women in your life.

Alright, this is not cool at all. A recent survey by Nielsen has revealed that Indian women are the most stressed out in the world: 87% of our women feel stressed out most of the time. This statistic alone has caused me to stress out. Even in workaholic America, only 53% women feel stressed.

What are we doing to our women? I'm biased, but Indian women are the most beautiful in the world. As mothers, sisters, daughters, colleagues, wives and girlfriends - we love them. Can you imagine life without the ladies?

For now, i want to give Indian women five suggestions to reduce their stress levels.
One, don't ever think you are without power. Give it back to that mother-in-law. Be who you are, not someone she wished you would be. She doesn't like you? That's her problem.

Two, if you are doing a good job at work and your boss doesn't value you - tell him that, or quit. Talented, hard-working people are much in demand.

Three, educate yourself, learn skills, network - figure out ways to be economically independent. So next time your husband tells you that you are not a good enough wife, mother or daughter-in-law, you can tell him to take a hike.

Four, do not ever feel stressed about having a dual responsibility of family and work. It is difficult, but not impossible. The trick is not to expect an A+ in every aspect of your life. You are not taking an exam, and you frankly can't score cent per cent (unless you are in SRCC, of course). It is okay if you don't make four dishes for lunch, one can fill their stomach with one. It is okay if you don't work until midnight and don't get a promotion. Nobody remembers their job designation on their dying day.

Five, most important, don't get competitive with other women. Someone will make a better scrapbook for her school project than you. Another will lose more weight with a better diet. Your neighbour may make a six-dabba tiffin for her husband, you don't - big deal. Do your best, but don't keep looking out for the report card, and definitely don't expect to top the class. There is no ideal woman in this world, and if you strive to become one, there will be only one thing you will achieve for certain - stress.
So breathe, chill, relax. Tell yourself you are beautiful, do your best and deserve a peaceful life. Anybody trying to take that away from you is making a mistake, not you. Your purpose of coming to this earth is not to please everyone. Your purpose is to offer what you have to the world, and have a good life in return. The next time this survey comes, i don't want to see Indian women on top of the list. I want them to be the happiest women in the world. Now smile, before your mother-in-law shouts at you for wasting your time reading the newspaper.
Cherish Womanhood.

In our country  a woman is blamed for everything  that happens around her especially married women, and singles are left out in a majority of cases. A woman takes multiple roles from a daughter to grand mother in her life.

Without a woman no man is complete nor a family but what happens to her life?, it's so stressful that it shows on her health.

A woman should make her decision clear to herself before starting a family, by  saying that this is my path/route 'look this is how I am going to be', 'I do not want to be a tyagi for all', I would like to have "me, my time" !

Speak out your mind, the silence would hurt you all the more. By expressing what is in your mind frankly, you are warding off so many problems from  unnecessary advances to gossips.

Sit and jot down your strengths and weaknesses so that in due course of time you can make your weaknesses your strengths, and strengthen your strength. Not all woman are same nor they are different. Each one has some  good, some bad qualities and some potentials. You need to know what is your strength and improve on it to face the society boldly. Even a woman who lives in a hut would have some potential in her. Find out the hidden potential in you and develop it.

Never give a chance for others to take you for granted including your kids or your immediate family. No one can hurt you without your permission, if you are lenient you deserve it!
As long as you feel you are on the right lines do not bother what the society thinks of you or your actions. You have to worry about your conscience and nothing else, do what you feel good without any repercussions or harm to anybody.

Never fall a prey to sweet coated words, they are hidden poisons to imbalance you. Even some one appreciates you, take with a pinch of salt, be happy but analyse whether it's from the lips or heart.Once you are addicted to praise you tend to look for the easy ditch readily dug for you, and in no moment you will fall into it, without even you knowing it.

Never get into depression as it's the dangerous quicksand readily waiting for you to get trapped into it, the sooner you come out of it, the better for your survival. The next thing is indulging yourself lavishly in 'self pity'. Both depression and self pity should never exist in a woman's dictionary. They are the most dangerous tsunami, swine flu one can get in one's life!

Chalk out your work in such a way that you are able to be an efficient administrator in your family.Your family should feel your absence at  the same time should also respect and know your value. For that you have to make them responsible to know their duties and how far they can lend a helping hand to run the family.

Pamper yourself the way you want so that you rejuvenate your energy to rise up to the expectation of others without giving your policy . Recharging the battery is essential in the long run , go on a holiday without your attachments in' toto', enjoy thoroughly, bring back your childhood and teenage life .
Do not expect everyone to praise or condemn you. This is next to impossible.
Do what is right to you provided you have the support of your conscience.
You become wise when you see the virtuous spark in people and things around you.
Life is like a roller coaster ride, it depends on you whether you want to scream or smile. Spread the smile around you like a virus.
Adopt positive attitude and you see how your life progresses!.

Hail womanhood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
