A soft cloth dampened with white vinegar cleans the stain on the stainless steel vessels, wipe dry to avoid spots.
To fix a squeaky hinge take a cucumber slice and rub it along the problematic hinge.
The outside of the cucumber acts as a wonderful eraser for pen, pencil and crayon marks on the walls.
 Wipe all  remotes with a dry cloth at least once in two days to keep away the bacteria.
 Clean all the door handles especially bathroom doors, cupboard handles, fridge handles, wipe them every day. 
Clean key boards, TV remote, mobile keys , with the sticky part of ‘post it’ to remove the crumbs, and dusts.
Placing a few pieces of cucumber in the pots keeps the insects away.
Eating a few pieces of cucumber takes away the tiredness from you.

Remove the crayon marks on walls by rubbing a damp cloth dipped in baking soda.
 Take the outer skin of the cucumber and to erase the pencil, crayon and markers mark on the walls!
Get rid of the  scratches and scuffs out of your leather couches with shoe polish.
Heat a bowl of water and vinegar for 5 minutes in the microwave. The steam will dissolve stuck-on stains.
Once a fortnight wash the buckets and mugs in the bath room. 
Pour distilled white vinegar in a plastic bag and fit it over the shower head, secure with a rubber band. Let it soak for an hour, then remove the bag and wipe away with a cloth or paper towel.
Rub white chalk over the grease stain. It has powerful absorbing qualities.
Some of the things which needs frequent cleaning are foot rests.Wash them once a week, have a spare and keep changing. Dry them in the sun. Every day, dust them and use.
Start putting in your plants wet news papers  to work the nutrients in the soil.  Weeds do not grow through the newspapers.

To cover scratches on dark wood furniture, make a thick paste of instant coffee and a little water. Rub it into the nicks and scratches.
 Soak cutting boards in a mixture of bleach and water in the sink for at least an hour. Rinse and see they are as good as new!
To get rid of ants, pour used coffee grounds on them. 
To keep your pillows fluffy, put a tennis ball in the drier with them.
To warm biscuits, pancakes, or muffins that were refrigerated, place them in a microwave with a cup of water. The increased moisture will keep the food moist and help it reheat faster.
Wash the mop stick and the mop cloth everyday in Lizol or phenol after use and dry them completely before using the next time.
 Wash vegetables and fruits with hydrogen peroxide to remove dirt and pesticides. It’s non-toxic.
Use hydrogen peroxide-water   50- 50 as a mouthwash to freshen breath.
