Avoid adding salt before deep frying, as salt further lowers the smoking point of oils. If the oil froths, then discard it.  Avoid buying a drain cleaner, use a conditioner  it works just as well! Pour a bit down a clogged drain, run hot water over it, and this will dislodge the blockage. Before you dismantle some electronic, electric gadgets take a video / picture to help you while assembling.  Do not keep milk in the refrigerator door, it will spoil faster than keeping it on the shelves of the medium. Dry clean carpets and upholstered furniture by sprinkling baking soda over the fabric and gently brushing it. Leave it for an hour or overnight, then vacuum.  Garlic keeps the pests away for rose plants. If you save onion in nylons you can keep them for up to 8 months. It’s not healthy to reuse the leftover oil: If you find the oil clear in golden yellow color, smells good reuse it. If the oil is darker, smells bad discard it.  Keep magnets in your sewing basket, pin holders to make them stay in one place.  Newspaper cleans mirrors well. Not able to remove your gloves, run your hands under cold water for a few seconds and the gloves will slide off. Never refrigerate tomatoes basil, potatoes, onions, avocado, garlic ,bread ,olive oil,  coffee and honey.

Put an open container of baking soda in the fridge to absorb the odours. Sprinkle it on your slippers, boots, shoes, and socks to eliminate foul odour.

Smear some baking soda under sinks and along basement windows to repel cockroaches and ants.

 Store leftover food, sliced vegetables in an air tight transparent  container to  identify easily .

The cheese should be stored in the warmest part of the refrigerator.

To keep the skin smooth just like bath oil use a conditioner while sitting in a bath tub.

To remove the stacked glasses, pour cold water into the inner one and place them in a bowl of warm water. 

To reuse dry bread, rub the surface with an ice cube and bake for 10 minutes.

Use cut onion for a quick shoe polish, when they get late to school and it actually works.

Vinegar works wonders in glass cleaning.

Wash the windows, horizontally on the inside side and vertically on the other side to see the streaks. 

When you want to direct someone to your house send a picture of your house for easy location.

Wrap the outside of bananas with plastic wrap to prevent the entry of air and keep the bananas in good condition longer.

You can also rub Vaseline to zippers in suitcases etc. for quick lubrication
