Ingredients:
carrot, cauliflower, potato , beans diced ,shelled peas-- all one cup each .
onion 2 medium -make a fine paste without adding water
tomatoes 2 medium -make a paste
garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
jeera powder 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
oil as per need
For grinding:
ginger 2 cm
garlic 8 pods - ( or ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoon )
green chillies 2 deseeded
grated coconut 1 cup
saunf /fennel seed 1 teaspoon
poppy seed/ kuskus 1 teaspoon
clove 2
cinnamon 3 cm
bay leaf 1
cardamom 2 nos
soaked cashew nuts 8-9
fried gram/ pottu kadalai/ chatney chana 3 tablespoon
garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
jeera powder 1 teaspoon
salt to taste
METHOD :
Boil all vegetables.
Take a kadhai pour oil and fry the onion paste till it turns brown.
Next add the tomato paste and saute.
Once the raw smell goes, add the jeera and garam masala powder ,salt and mix.
Add the boiled vegetables, mix well.
After a minute add the grind paste and mix thoroughly. The kurma smell should come .
Switch off the gas, you can add curd or squeeze half a lemon as per the taste.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
P.S
you can add shallow fried bread pieces on top just before serving.
